The RDCA Jnr. Executive, in conjunction with South Croydon CC and Lilydale CC, have commenced a long term program to introduce girls cricket into our competition. Following the success of Steve Hickman from SCCC, with the all girls U14 team, we believe there is an opportunity for the association to broaden the scope of the junior competition.

The initial step is to conduct clinics for girls, at Lilydale, in August, with the hope that we might field an U14 and an U12 team this season.
