RDCA MEMBERS & AFFILIATED CLUBS
On behalf of the Ringwood and District Cricket Association Board, I advise the result of the procedures that have been undertaken to obtain a replacement for our current Chairman, Mr. Ian Dench.
In the absence of receipt of any nominations from Clubs to fill the position of Chairman, members of the Board contacted several RDCA members who in the Board’s opinion would be suitable nominations for submission to the Annual General Meeting for election to the position.
It was reported to the July meeting of the Board that we had been unsuccessful in locating a member who was in a position to accept nomination for the position and, as a result, the Board asked Ian Dench to reconsider his decision.
After discussions with Ian and allowing time for him to consider the Board’s request, on behalf of the Board it is my pleasure to advise that Ian Dench has reconsidered his decision and has accepted the Board’s nomination of Chairman
