Mr. Hall was a local Councillor who is believed to have been involved with the East Ringwood Football Club at some stage.
He was also involved with the east Ringwood Cricket Club and served as that club’s delegate to the RDCA for some years, including 1946-47, 1947-48 and again in 1952-53. At some stage he was also an Umpire.
Mr. Hall was a Patron of the Association in 1941-42 and served as a Vice President in 1949-50.He was elected President of the Association at the Annual General Meeting held on the 3rd September 1947 at Gibsons Cafe and he also served in the same role for the 1948-49. He donated a Shield for the B Grade competition and also tried on two occasions to do away with finals and rely on a points system to determine premiers. These moves were defeated on the vote of clubs.
Mr. Hall was elected as a Life Member of the Association at the Annual General Meeting held on the 12th August 1949 at the Croydon Hall.It is believed he died in 1955.
