Special General Meeting

Ladies and Gents,

Commencing with Circular No.14, followed by a general communication dated 16 April 2012, the Senior Committee floated some possible changes to the senior Grading Structure.

The proposed Grading structure changes, together with possible implementation date(s), have now been finalised.

I confirm that the Board of Management has considered the proposals, asked a few questions and now, in terms of Rule 23(a), has directed that the motions, as set out in the attached

Notice of Meeting, be put before a Special General Meeting for determination.

It is ESSENTIAL that your club registers its stance on this issue and has your two members (delegates), being the Secretary and the other registered delegate, attend the meeting to hear further discussion on the issue and record their votes on behalf of your club.

NOTE! If Secretary and/or second delegate have changed since the end of last season, the club needs to advise details of the new person(s) before the Special General meeting.

The Secretary is automatically the first delegate but any change to the second delegate needs to be formalised by completion of a Membership Application, a copy of which is attached.

If a delegate is unable to attend on the night he/she may nominate, by completing Proxy Form (as attached), another person to vote on his/her behalf.

Should you wish to clarify who the club’s registered second delegate is, I can help you up to this weekend but Stuart Newey is the contact point thereafter.

Advices changing the Secretary, second delegate or appointing Proxy should be sent to Stuart Newey, by email (snewey@sme.com.au) or posted to
him at 25 Glenwood Dve Croydon 3136.

Also attached are a further information document and proposed grading for season 2012/13 in the event structure changes are adopted.
