Kilsyth CC - Seeks Senior Coach

24 May 2017 - Posted by Roger Copeland

Kilsyth CC is seeking the services of a Senior Playing or Non Playing Coach for season 2017/2018 with the option of an extension.

Over the past five years our First XI has played in a Semi Final, two Preliminary Finals and two narrow Grand Final losses. The Club’s First, Second and Third XI’s all made the finals in 2016/17 with the Second and Third XI’s finishing on top of their respective ladders at the end of the home and away season so we have depth in the top grades. The First XI achieved three outright wins during the season and the Club’s senior T20 team won the premiership. The Club has excellent facilities, including new nets and a bowling machine and is looking to build on our recent success.

Kilsyth Cricket Club fields six senior and five junior teams and has a long and proud history competing continuously in the RDCA since 1922 and winning 67 premierships (13 First XI). We are known as the family club and have an excellent social calendar/environment.

The successful applicant will ideally have a strong track record of playing &/or coaching at an equivalent or higher grade of cricket to what we play now (Wilkins Cup). We are seeking a person with strong leadership skills, as well as a keen eye to develop our young senior players and bring further success to KCC's top grades.

The Club will provide help from within to look after our 6 senior sides but being able to communicate to a larger group on a regular basis is paramount along with helping players achieve their goals. You will be supported by a strong administration off the field and remuneration is negotiable.

All applications, expressions of interest and enquiries are welcome and will be treated with the strictest of confidence, as always.

Interested applicants should apply to either:

President                                                 Or                 Vice President
Paul Pleming                                                                Mark Unternahrer
